A brand, editorial & UI designer
Base in Shanghai
Hi I'm Rachel Lin, a Visual and UI Designer from Hangzhou. Focus on Brand Design and making design equitale for everyone.
Born and grown up in China. One of my favorite artists is Joseph Kosuth whose art theory has inspired me a lot, which leads me to consider the relationship and connection between the told and untold thing. My interdisciplinary methodology has been heavily influenced by the thinking of how to make content and visual elements to explain and describe each other.
Working and studying across the field of art and creative direction, from graphic design to conceptual art. Each project pursues the balance between macro and micro aesthetics. Projects are attempting to achieve both conceptual thinking and commercial consideration.
I was graduating with my MFA in Visual Communication Design from SAIC (School of the Art Institute of Chicago) in May 2018.
